This is where objectives meet action. The goals you've set out need to be put into action.
You have to lead a prospect through the path that will guide them to purchasing your product or service. Don’t let them wonder around, because they will be lead to another product/service, another supplier… they will be lead to your competition and you will lose a customer/client.
Sales is a numbers game*, so you need to be on top of your numbers to become successful at it.
If you don't know your numbers, you don't know what's going on. You need to know what's happening with your pipeline, so let’s dive into this module and get you prepared, so you know what you need to do, step-by-step, to get to the sales success that you’ve set out for yourself.
* Sales is a numbers game, but not in the way that a lot of people think. It’s not about contacting hundreds of leads and prospects, in the hope 1 of them will sign up, but it’s a numbers game in that sense; that you need to know exactly how many leads you need, how many prospects you have in your pipeline, how many deals you need, so you can get to the results you want and need, to make your business a success.
So remember. Sales is not a numbers game, because you need to contact lots and lots of people, en masse, to get results, no… Sales is a numbers game, because if you don’t know what number of prospects you need in your pipeline, you won’t know what you need to do, to get the right results and make your business profitable.
