Want more clients? Then stop doing this…

Want more clients in your business? <img draggable=

Then you need to stop ‘just having a chat’ with people, it’s not going to get you enough customers to grow a sustainable business.

In my conversations with entrepreneurs, I always ask what strategy they use when they sell, or if they have a sales process, and to my surprise, a lot of people say they don’t have one, that they just have ‘a chat’ with people.

Now, don’t get me wrong, it’s great to have a chat with people, and talk to them without pressuring them, to test the waters and get an understanding if you can help them, BUT… Why did you start your business? <img draggable=

If I’m not mistaken, you started your business, and you became an entrepreneur, to help as many people as you can, spread your knowledge, make sure other people can benefit from it, and to be able to make a decent living of your expertise, not to just have a chat with people, right?

I have a chat with my family, my friends, with my fiancé, but I don’t have a casual chat with my potential clients. I have SALES CONVERSATIONS.

I know sales has gotten a bad name over time, but if done the right way, a sales conversation can be very natural, pleasant and easy, and it doesn’t have to be about pushing people, but about finding the right match to your skills, product or service offering.

You have to go into a conversation with the right strategy, so that you can discover:

<img draggable= their starting position, what their needs and/or problems are,

<img draggable= what makes them tick, what benefit will they have from working with you or buying from you, so you can guide them in their decision making.

<img draggable= the worries they have about your product or service, and the potential objections they might have, so you can handle them or pre-empt them.

That way, you can find out if you can help them with their problems, see if you’re aligned, and if their needs and your solution match in a way so that a potential client is able to achieve their goals. <img draggable=

The good news is that you can do all this without feeling sleazy, or pushy at all, if you know how!

If you don’t go in with a decent strategy to have a structured conversation with them, then you’re not being respectful about their time, but more importantly, you’re not using your own time very respectfully and efficiently either.

It’s not going to be satisfying, it’s just going to consume all your time and your money, and you could be doing SO MUCH BETTER. You could be helping so many more people, you could be earning more money, and you could be sharing your knowledge and expertise, and touch more lives, if you know how to go through your sales conversations the right way.

So if you’re serious about your business, then you need to get this sorted for your next conversations. Just remember, there’s only two things most important in your business to make it sustainable, and that is:

<img draggable= Getting clients, and

<img draggable= Serving them.

If you want a shortcut, and start converting more leads into paying clients in an efficient, effective and non-sleazy way, then shoot me a DM <img draggable= and we can see how I can help you with this! <img draggable=
