Integrity – Dignity – Honesty.

INTEGRITY – DIGNITY – HONESTY.

Those are values that I find of paramount importance in life and business. Can’t go without them. <img draggable=<img draggable=

Now recently, I asked a connection online how it was going, if it was going smoothly to sell her services, and this was the reply:

<img draggable= “Not quite. We really need to see first if we are a good fit or not. If I can really help them and provide results for them. As business owners, we want to work with a client that we can really help not just to sell services. ”

I get it… most people feel that selling and serving are mutually exclusive, but they are not!

They go hand in hand, first you serve, then (if it’s right) you sell, so you can serve them even more. There’s nothing wrong with that, you are helping people with the knowledge and expertise you have to offer. If they benefit from it, so can you. <img draggable=

Sales has gotten a really bad rap over the years (decades) and a lot of people seem to be under the impression that ‘selling’ is about pushing and forcing people to buy something, no matter if they need it or not… and that makes me sad and frustrated at the same time, because IT DOESN’T HAVE TO BE THAT WAY. <img draggable=

That’s not what I coach my clients on… I coach my clients to get a process in place that makes linking the right clients to their services easier, and that makes closing a sale more effortlessly, not to be sleazy or pushy and sell to everyone who bites.

On the contrary, selling is as much attracting as repelling. You want to attract the people you can help, but you want to ‘repel’ the people that aren’t right for your services.

<img draggable= Selling isn’t a dirty word, or a bad thing to do, when done the right way and I am on a mission to change people’s mind on that, there is still integrity in selling! <img draggable=

By the way, after I replied the exact same thing to her, this was her response… <img draggable=<img draggable=

<img draggable= “Totally agree with this! People should also understand that we sell something (may it be a product or a service) because we care for them, because based on their current situation.. It might help them.”
